A classic, elegant and simple colour palette formed the backbone of the brand strategy. The signature navy was carried through the guest experience: from signage and carpet to robes and pillows.
Niagara-on-the-Lake has strict policies on exterior colour usage on buildings. The Laundry worked with the local municipality to ensure that the brand’s signature navy was one of the approved, traditional paint colours used in the area in late 1700’s.
In the common areas of the hotel, the colour palette was expanded to include more contemporary hues to match the bar’s extensive cocktail program.
The same colour palette was carried through the food program. The culinary team cooperated with the signature hues to create dishes that pop off the blue plates and come to life against rich wall coverings.
The same colour palette was applied to the social media strategy, ensuring that guests experience a similar vibe on the digital platform as in the physical space. Touches of the signature navy strategically appear in almost every single photo.
